Liz Blystone

Vice President, Client Service & Strategy

Liz Blystone joined the firm in 2019 as Vice President, Client Service & Strategy with a focus on enhancing client service, supporting client planning strategies, and working with business clients on retirement plans and strategy opportunities. Prior to joining Bruton Chisnell Advisors, she founded InSight Consulting, where she shared her passion of helping others to achieve their business and personal goals by working with local companies on strategy, marketing, and special projects. She also spent 12 years at The J. M. Smucker Company with roles in brand marketing, innovation, strategic process design, and retail partnership experience.

Liz’s education credentials include a B.S. in Marketing Management and E-Marketing and Advertising, and an MBA in Strategic Marketing from The University of Akron. She has also served as an adjunct professor at her alma mater, where she developed and taught an MBA-level Brand Management course.

Liz resides in Akron, Ohio with her husband and daughter. Liz is passionate about elevating the Akron community that she loves. She is involved with student mentoring and professional development at the College of Business Administration at the University of Akron, where she is the Board Chair for the Marketing Department Executive Advisory Board and has served on that board for over 10 years, and is also part of the UA Women in Business program. Also, she is a board member of Heart to Heart Leadership in Akron, an organization focused on enriching lives by helping individuals and organizations strengthen and live their values through leadership and team development, and she is a member of the Bath Business Association
